From cleansers and toners to moisturizers and masks, the recipes are intended to address any skincare concerns—whether it’s acne, wrinkles, dehydration or just the maintenance of beautiful skin, using all-natural means.
My face was the first area I began experimenting with with all-natural homemade products, so this section holds a special place in my heart. If my incredibly problematic skin was able to benefit from just a few food-grade concoctions, then anyone’s can.
Skin Cleansing Recipes
These recipes are intended to remove dirt and residue from the face. If you wear makeup, it is imperative that you remove it before cleansing . . . or you could just use the first recipe given below, which is a two-in-one makeup-removing cleanser! What’s great about all-natural cleansers is that you can create one that is incredibly effective without harming the homeostasis of your delicate facial skin—unlike many of the harsh and stripping or petroleum-filled and ineffective cleansers on the market!
The cleansing oils and toners of this section can make great gifts, but most of these cleansers are intended for one-time use only.
